COPYRIGHT & TERMS

I retain the sole right to reproduce images of my artwork. This includes the rights to commissioned original paintings. Collectors may not reproduce purchased artwork without my written permission. I also retain the right to make fine art reproductions of any artwork unless the Collector has purchased full or partial rights to the artwork (in addition to purchasing the original).

Can I take a picture of the painting I purchased and share it?

If you would like to share images of purchased artwork on social media, please ensure that my name and social media account on that platform are credited. Never use a photo filter on images of artwork, since this changes the nature of the work.

Can I curate your work online?

Art curators may feature my work, provided that the image of the artwork is not altered in any way and that my name and social media account on that platform are credited. My work may not be used for or reproduced in images for advertisements or promotions.

Can I reference your work in my own paintings?

Under the terms of Fair Use, copyrighted materials may be copied for limited and “transformative” purposes, such as to review, critique, or satirize a copyrighted work. You may reference my work for personal education only, but selling those copies or sharing them on social media is prohibited without my written permission.
